First off, I'd like to send a personal thank you to the lovely, amazing Geobabe, my snogarrific cuddle bitca, for taking the time to wish Mr. Kitty a Happy Father's Day. You have no idea how much that meant to us, especially considering neither of his children could have been bothered to send a card or pick up the phone. Ironic that every member of my family called him (and we don't even have kids together, other than Da Boyz), someone he's never even met remembered him, but his kids didn't. Argh.
Secondly.. I like that my new picture is a little fuzzy. I thought about fixing it, but then realized it's much more appropos this way. :)
Third.. happy happy happy birfday to Sophie's little one. I didn't get to say that the other day. I hope you smeared cake all over yourself and anyone within throwing distance.
Fourth.. I'm totally freaked out that I watched the Dead Zone on USA last night, thinking how the main character was sorta attractive in a unique way, and then found out it was Anthony Michael Hall. ::SHUDDER::
Fifth.. got a lot done on the electrical this weekend. The framers showed up bright and early this morning, and are outside right now putting up the last of the wire mesh and stuccoing. They're really nice guys, and actually talk to me like I'm older than, say, two. Probably because they've seen me plumbing and wiring. ::grin::
Sixth.. we're guinea pig sitting this week. Now, you would think that if you were leaving your pets with someone, you'd provide all the necessary supplies. Well, they forgot the bedding, so the poor pigs had to deal with laying in their.. ahhh.. waste for almost two days, until I could get to the store. The smell was.. interesting. So I cleaned out the cage, put in bedding, and gave them both baths. Then realized that I probably should have picked up more food while I was out, 'cause there's no way what they brought with them is going to last until Sunday. ::grumble:: If that wasn't bad enough, despite all protests to the contrary, it turns out they're the squeaky kind of guinea pigs. I can't tell you what that noise does to my nerves.
Seventh.. I dropped a hammer on my head this weekend. I was moving the ladder, and thought I'd put it in the little hammer-type-hole, but it turns out I didn't. I don't advise anyone trying that. But I have a *really* impressive bump now.
Eigth.. I got a phone call this morning from my therapist- I have an appointment today at 4. She wanted to know if we could move it to 5, since she had diarrhea she just couldn't get rid of and was going to see the doctor at 3:15. Now, I like my therapist and all, she's a great woman and pretty on the ball, and I have to commend anyone who can stare into the black depths of my brain and not run screaming, but.. isn't that a little too much information??? I mean, just say "I need to move our appointment, is 5 okay with you?" I don't need to know why, really. Yuck.
Ninth.. I'm very, very, very pleased to see that Noc made it out of surgery okay, and despite all the stuff she's facing at the moment seems to be on the road to recovery. Can't wait to see you in August!!
Tenth.. The email's on its way soon, Ser. ::grin::
Enough for now. Gotta go check on the boards, see if there's anything new and exciting.
