Jun. 25th, 2003 04:18 pmOh.. and we have a defective cat.
We finally tried to make him an outdoor cat, since he was used to being outside and we only kept him in the house so he could figure out this was his new home. We figured he'd be all excited to get back into the wide, wonderful world. He's got 16 bloody acres, dogs to terrorize, snakes and bugs to eat.. what's not to like?
Opened the door, cat took 3-4 steps outside, turned, jogged back into the house and climbed back onto the couch.
::sigh::
*Threw* the cat back outside, had to listen to him sitting outside the door meowing plantively for *ages*. Refused to let him into the house til he shut the hell up.
Only one problem with that theory. He won't. Shut. Up.
Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meeooow. Woooooowww. Rrrrrooowwwrrr. He'll sit right next to you and just freakin' yowl, and it's driving me MAD. HMcHH coworker insists the cat didn't used to be this way. ::sigh:: Am I simply destined to live with insane males?
He does, however, do the paw-under-the-door thing, which is actually pretty funny when we have 'bus in the room with us. Poor pup gets so confused.. it's great when you've got the dog scratching to be let out to see the cat, and the cat scratching to be let in to.. oh, I have no idea WHAT the hell the cat wants. He's just a freak.
