Friday is *finally* here. Better yet, next week is Spring Break, so although I still need to work it means my boss isn't going to be here. Woo hooo!!
I have so much to do this weekend.. first on my list is to finish that blasted quilt for Anthony Stewart Head. Poor guy's birthday's come and gone, and I'm still lagging behind on the sewing. Granted, I wasn't expecting to do the whole damn thing by hand. But it looks ***really*** nice. I'll have to put pics of it on my website. And I have to clean the house, and bathe the dogs, and Mr. Kitty will probably need me to help him pull wire at the new house. It'll be busy, but if I get even half my stuff accomplished I'll be happy.
I get to see my new therapist today. I'm a little nervous, 'cause she's not a cognitive behaviorist. I don't respond well to the fluffy-bunny school of counseling, so I hope she has some teeth to her. The woman that I saw through the EAP highly recommended her, though, so I'm going to give it a chance. Should be interesting.. I don't want to be a difficult client, but sometimes it's hard remembering which side of the couch I'm on.
Oh, and in what had to be the most amusingly-timed incident ever, my computer called my boss a bitch. ::giggle:: I have 'Buffy: the Vampire Slayer' sounds for the alerts, and as I was getting a detailed explanation of my new assignment my computer suddenly piped up with Wesley saying "Bitch." If my boss hadn't been so taken aback, perhaps the rest of the phrase ("Not you, obviously") could have been heard. But DAMN, it was priceless. I just sorta shrugged and said "My computer has issues sometimes." And about peed myself when I got a moment alone. ::snicker::
Well, I should try to get something accomplished before I go. Once more to the breach...
