Augh. My turn!

I slept til 11:30 this morning. I have had a bitca of a headache for, oh, about a week and a half now, so the extra sleeping time did me some good in that it was 5 extra pain-free hours, but now I have to rush around trying to accomplish things so Mr. Kitty doesn't find out I slept in so late.
I haven't been able to log on to the boards in **days**. I keep getting that "I can't let you do that, kitty" message. I can *read* the boards, if I log out beforehand, but I can't log on to post. I had LindyHopper send an email to Tuba, but I haven't heard back yet. I'm going nuts!
Lindy and the ever-lovely Serendipity are the only two people to have RSVPd for Friday night festivities at BamaDope. I know Noc isn't going to be there, but what the hell?? There were a ton of people in the other thread who were interested..
My Amazon.com order hasn't shipped yet. I NEED BOOKS, DAMMIT. And the new Anuna CD.
I am blown away by the fact that Sophie would actually recommend The Sound and The Fury to someone. I thought much more highly of her than that. Sheesh, girl, next you'll be telling people to read Flannery O'Connor. ::running screaming at the thought::
::grumble:: I think I'm going to go lay down for a bit.

Date: 2002-07-31 06:24 pm (UTC)B. What the hell is that supposed to mean? ::snicker:: You know, I wonder how much of my literary biases exist because of Horrendous High School Experiences. Flannery O'Connor, Steinbeck (don't even get me started on Steinbeck), Hemmingway.. all send me running screaming and gouging out my eyes (though I think the Hemmingway thing has more to do with the fact that the man is Incapable. Of. Writing. A. Compound. Sentence. AUGH.). We did a book of short stories by O'Connor in.. oh, must've been junior year English. Including the one with the preacher that wrapped himself in barbed wire. ::shudder::
C. You may, indeed. Just Not Right Now. ;)
