bobkittyGot the pantry grouted today (except for the spots that have Stuff With Nowhere Else To Go on it) and Mr. Kitty's computer moved in. Had to clean the space between the tiles by hand, since I couldn't find the Dremeltm anywhere.. managed to get by with only breaking one nail. I'm thinking about knocking off for the evening and starting on the floor in my study tomorrow. Never thought I'd say this, but I'm getting a bit tired of being on my knees.
I'm going to be building the bookshelves in my study and have several ideas of what type of wood I'd like to use. Only problem is I can't quite decide between three possibilities. I need something that'll hold stain well, is reasonably priced, and that I can be assured of being able to find enough 6-8 foot pieces that aren't warped all out of whack. So.. what are the opinions of the small sector of Teeming Millions on my list? I'm not going to tell you what I've narrowed it down to, since I want to see if y'all come up with it without me biasing you.
