Just returned from my 2-hour-long interview. I think it went well. Just a note.. when you interview for a job, suck up to the secretary. They're your foot in the door. Just to show you how far I have my foot in the door at this place.. the secretary today CRIED in front of me. Heh. So I'm good with her, at least. I should know about the job in a few weeks.

Spent the weekend putting up insulation, and Gene and his helper sheetrocked the ceiling in the master bedroom today. We also put up the mailbox, the main electrical panel (power company should be out later today), and the bell. The bell was a BITCH. I temporarily overcame my incredible phobia of falling, climbed up on a slick-as-owl-shit, steep metal roof, and helped Mr. Kitty pull the 75-lb monstrosity up the side of the house on a not-quite-designed-for-this-use rope. Pictures should be on the website tomorrow-ish.

And we purchased a brand-new bedroom suite. Very Indian, which is nice. KING SIZE BED, which is FABULOUS. The salesman made the following comment- "the longer you're together, the bigger your bed." Damn straight. I'm SOOOOO looking forward to those extra 16 inches. (no rude comments, TYVM)
